[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2001-02-19 Summary: New to Winemaking? So am I. ... A friend over seas, living in a country where one must make their own, recommended this gem to me last year. Since then, although possessed of no previous knowledge or experience, I succeeded rather easily in making good wines. I also compared the wine from the recipes in Anderson book with highly recommended kits from Vino Del Vida. Although much easier and quicker, the kit product, while very satisfactory according to those who have tasted it, did not measure up to the superior wine made from Anderson's recipes. ...more

Customer Reviews [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-02-27 Summary: Useful wine aerator ... We bought this about two months ago and since have purchased another one for our condo in Naples. I have tried a number of the Rabbit products and I'll stick with them. Ihave had a problem with a corkscrew but when I called customer service, they explained what I was doing wrong ( yes, I was wrong ). Great Product! Works Amazingly Well! Easy to Use! Easy to Clean! [3] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-02-01 Summary: Better than decantur ... I received this as a Christmas present and used it on Christmas day. I did play with it prior to use and I noticed that the plastic end cap had very little thread to the base, but it does hold solidly when applied properly. I had no problems at all and the taste of the wine was actually improved greatly over decanting because I kept the Merlot at the proper temperature using my Waring Pro Wine Chiller which was also a Christmas gift ( thank you my sister, Madeline!). I plan on using it with all red wines. ...more

I did some research and was getting ready to soak and peel. I found Label Lift at the wine store and decided to give it a try. I had success from the very first label. It is so easy. I have had many labels framed, both for myself and as gifts. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-12-05 Summary: Save the Label! ... If you have a tough label to get off a bottle this product will get it. I used to soak bottles in water with mixed results. Then I happened upon this product and decided to give it a go. It worked wonderfully. Later when I ran out I looked for it and found another similar product and tried it instead. Big mistake. The other product simply wasn't as good as Label Lift. Now I am back to using Label Lift exclusively. Since I am documenting a pursuit to drink at least 100 different single varietal wines; recovery of those ...more
[3] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-11-01 Summary: 10 times out of 10 ... My experience with my first pack: 1. It works. 10 times out of 10. Older bottles. Newer bottles. French, Italian, Californian ones. It just worked every time. 2. I tend to leave the label remover on for 1 to 2 hours, even leave it on overnight. Not a bad idea to wait for a couple more hours if there is no hurry to dispose the empty bottle. 3. I put the removed labels in a journal. The label straightens itself and becomes reasonably flat after a few days. I am extremely satisfied with the quality and the results. The ...more
